Manage robots safely! Pilz's new series of safe human-robot collaboration seminars

May 20, 2023

When humans and machines share workspaces, safety concerns come into focus. Virtually every human-machine application requires a separate safety-related assessment. A new series of seminars at the automation company Pilz will teach about safe human-robot collaboration (MRC). Participants will learn how to perform efficient and standards-compliant MRC applications in real-world situations.

Design engineers, system integrators, safety officers, and project engineers at the production site are all faced with brand-new problems: What requirements must be met for human-machine safety interaction? How to implement the conformity assessment procedure with CE marking?

Practical training content

In the new series of "Safe Human-Robot Collaboration" seminars, experts from Pilz will demonstrate safe human-robot collaboration step by step. Participants will learn about relevant standards and implementation methods. At the same time, risk assessments are carried out using application examples and collision detection is carried out according to the new ISO/TS 15066 limit values. Using the harvested knowledge of safe human-robot collaboration, companies can optimize the efficiency of their workflows.

On November 7th Pilz plans to offer a one-day seminar at its training center as well as local in-house training courses.
