Since two economical products were released this time (the other is the V20 inverter, which is introduced in another post), many high-level executives from Siemens attended, such as the executive director of Siemens China. Personally, I feel that this product will replace Siemens' S7-200CN, which is popular in the stand-alone market in the future. At the same time, from design to pricing, this product should be oriented to China. PLC caused a relatively large impact. Everyone is concerned about the price issue. Mr. Siemens Margaret replied at the media conference: "Excellent", but the specific amount has not been disclosed, and everyone can only wait and see.
According to reports, this product was developed in the United States and produced in China. The R&D team members are the design teams of the previous S7-200 and S7-1200 products. The biggest advantage lies in the continuity of the design.
The newly released SMART PLC and V20 frequency converter are the same as the SMART Line HMI released at the end of 2010, and they are all produced in Siemens Nanjing Factory (SNC). In fact, S7-200CN and LOGO! And other products are also produced in Nanjing factory.

High-speed processing chip, the execution time of basic instructions can reach 0.15μs. The product also integrates a Micro SD card slot, and the program update and PLC firmware upgrade can be realized by using the common Micro SD card on the market, which greatly facilitates the remote service support of the customer engineer to the end user, and also saves the PLC Inconvenience caused by firmware upgrade and return service.
